PLAGIARISM POLICY

Plagiarism Policy

The Editorial Board of International Journal of Digital Intelligence and Management Science (IJDIMS) acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) if plagiarism is identified in a manuscript submitted for publication.

1. Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Word-for-word copying from another’s work without clear citation.
  • Copying substantial portions of another’s work without attribution.
  • Using others' ideas, data, or algorithms without adequate credit.
  • Self-plagiarism (redundant publication), which is submitting the same work that has been previously published without proper referencing.

2. Screening Procedure

All submitted manuscripts will be screened for originality using Turnitin or iThenticate plagiarism detection software before being sent to reviewers.

3. Similarity Threshold

IJDIMS sets a maximum similarity index of 20%. If a manuscript is found with a similarity level above 20%:

  • 21% - 35%: The manuscript will be returned to the author for revision and paraphrasing.
  • > 35%: The manuscript will be immediately rejected without further peer review.

Note: Authors are required to submit a plagiarism-free statement letter during the initial submission process.
